the daily coyote

This critter has a deformed right front leg. We call him Otey the Coyote. Joy's gotten a little too attached to him, but he doesn't seem to be too much trouble at this point. Add him to our zoo.

sunday morning elk

The nature preserve keeps entertaining. For a fleeting couple of moments this morning, we caught this herd of about six skittish elk tromping through. They became very aware they were being watched and got out fast, not posing for better pictures. (Click for bigger)

Is the bear Catholic?

We had this visitor around 8pm last night looking for birdseed or whatever he/she could get his/her claws on.
